French-american composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Paris, Simon Benesch discovered his passion for music at the age of 10. Growing up between Paris and Los Angeles, the musical discoveries that sculpted his first influences knew few limits. His taste for travel has only furthered these along his path through New York, Mexico, Australia and more.

After graduating from IMEP Paris College of Music in 2015, he continued his studies at the Conservatoire  Musical of the 9th district of Paris focusing on Classical Composing and Orchestration. During this time he attended a seminar in Modelization of musical knowledge within orality at the EHESS and concluded his studies with a course in Composing techniques for film music and sound design at Studio Capitale in 2021.

Simon’s eclectic journey has seen him as founding member of French techno-rock band FAIRE; composer for Olivier Marin’s films “Entre Écume et Nuages”, “La Porte Était Ouverte” and “Il Faut Tenter De Vivre”; producer for Australian band Selve’s debut album “Red Desert Dream”; library music composer for Warner Chappell and Prodigious; live musician for David Shaw and the Beat; session musician for Midnight Special Records; resident Dj for all Le Perchoir clubs in Paris; as well as composer and sound designer for many other projects linked to film and video work.
